Fantastic Room Friday - November 8th, 2013

Today, I am bringing to you another bathroom.  I am obsessed with bathrooms right now.  I am longing to re-do both the guest/Littles bathroom as well as the Master Bath.  I have so many bathroom rehab ideas running through my head that sometimes it keeps me up at night.  Yep, really.  Welcome to my world!  But, I haven't started on any plans for change as of yet because we are heading into birthday and holiday seasons.  Too expensive a time to be making other expensive changes.  So I wait....

Anywhoo, this again is a very simple bathroom.  Has everything you could possibly need.  Two sinks.  Storage under the sinks.  Fancy mirrors.  Claw foot tub.  Natural light.  A chair to keep your naked butt off of the floor.  A fireplace - what???  Well, you may not NEED a fireplace in your bathroom, but wouldn't it be a nice addition?  Totally excessive, but also totally romantic.  I can even forgive the strange head mount above the fireplace as I am still lost in the opulence of a warm, crackling fire while taking a bath.  Sounds yummy to me!!!

The Weekend

We have been a sick household since the middle of May.  Not all at the same time, cuz that's not how we roll.  One person at a time.  And we weren't just passing around the same sickness - oh no, we had to be individuals with our own special sicknesses. At two separate times, Mike and I had planned date days.  We had been SO looking forward to seeing "Fast and Furious 6" and our first date night attempt was the movie's opening Friday.  Nope.  I was sick and unable to get out of bed.  You can thank me later for sparing you the details. Second attempt was two weeks later.  Same plan - sushi and "FF6". Nu uh.  Mike was sick this time. Lessons Learned from my 5-Year-Old

Eat only when you’re hungry. And there is no guilt needed if hunger calls to you 15 minutes after you have just eaten lunch. A fancy cereal box trumps the toy inside every time. Say hi to strangers. And I mean every stranger.  Especially when they look grumpy. Be proud of your tummy. Be willing to show that tummy to everyone.   Ask 'why' a lot. Do not stop asking 'why' until you are completely satisfied. When in doubt, make up a silly dance. Everything becomes clearer after a silly dance. Negotiate your destiny.   Stomp when you are grumpy. How will others know you are grumpy without the stomp?   Despise injustice.   Have a point of view.   Be easily bribed by sugar. Or afternoon movies. Drink from cups that make you feel fancy.
